aisle, keep in mind that in home run derby, pitchers dont throw full strength to try and beat the batter, they throw pitches that are easy to hit!

Pitchers threw a lot slower back then as can be seen in this video. Perhaps only Ted Williams from that era would be a great hitter today.

This was Wrigley field Los Angeles. Since some half wit didn't post a part 3 we have to presume this was the second competition between these two. Mantle won the first and Mays the second?Hank Aaron held the record for most money won on Home Run Derby, winning $13,500.
